Dr. Sahand (Sam) Shokati, DMD
My educational journey from Vancouver to Sydney has allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge about scientific concepts and how they inform the principles of oral health. I graduated from University of Sydney, earning Doctor of Dental Medicine in December 2019; however, equally important was the experience I gained while completing my academic training. I worked at three hospitals in Sydney, executing treatment plans including periodontal, extraction, restorative, endodontic, fixed and removable prosthodontics, as well as maintenance work. This diversity allowed me to appreciate the day-to-day commitment of professionals, and the need to continue growing in the face of every new challenge.
