Dr Tejani and his friendly and professional staff are excellent and proved over time to truly care about my particular needs in product support regarding an excellent sleep apnea device that needed tweaking "Panthera" oral appliance. This actually worked for me when I couldn't make the CPAP thing work and improved my most recent UBC sleep study test results by a whopping 90%. A true god sent for my general health and game changer. Dr Tajani can offer many alternatives to traditional dental products on the market with excellent follow up for issues that require on going care. Great clinic

Dr.Sam is truly exceptional! As is Roza who complements & assists him very well, so they have made my treatments enjoyable - which you can't always say about dental visits. They've been great to deal with as Dr. Sam takes the time to explain everything in detail & he took a personal interest in my complex oral issues to go out of his way to really try to help me.
He genuinely cares about his patients oral health & personal well being. All the staff I've had any dealings with including Christine & Lianne at the front are extremely pleasant & accommodating! They've been worth the long drive from Cloverdale to downtown Vancouver!

Dr. Sahand (Sam) Shokati, DMD
My educational journey from Vancouver to Sydney has allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge about scientific concepts and how they inform the principles of oral health. I graduated from University of Sydney, earning Doctor of Dental Medicine in December 2019; however, equally important was the experience I gained while completing my academic training. I worked at three hospitals in Sydney, executing treatment plans including periodontal, extraction, restorative, endodontic, fixed and removable prosthodontics, as well as maintenance work. This diversity allowed me to appreciate the day-to-day commitment of professionals, and the need to continue growing in the face of every new challenge.
Dr. Shelly Kassam, BDS (Lond) LDS, RCS
Dr. Shelly Kassam (also known as Dr. Shelly at the office) was born in Africa and raised and educated in London, England. She graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and has a Licentiate of Dental Surgery from The Royal College of Surgeons, England.
Dr. Shelly conducts laser certification courses for dentists, hygienists and dental assistants with her husband, Dr. Omar Kassam. She has presented internationally on the role of lasers in dentistry, beauty and wellness programs.
Dr. Shelly attained her Standard, Advanced and Mastership Accreditation from the Academy of Laser Dentistry as well as received her Educator status for the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) for Canada. Dr. Shelly has furthered her education with Clearly Aligned to allow her to provide functional and esthetic orthodontics to her patients with Invisalign® clear aligner treatment.
Dr. Shelly is passionate about creating a centre that helps people realize their full potential and guide them towards their own journey of change and smiling confidence.
Dr. Omar Kassam, BDS (Lond) LDS, RCS
Dr. Omar Kassam graduated from the University of London in 1977 and has been in practice ever since. In 1987, he was a Clinical Instructor for final year students in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of British Columbia. In 1998, Dr. Kassam became a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and by 2008 he earned his Masters Degree in Laser Dentistry and became a recognized course provider of this specialized field of dentistry.
Dr. Kassam lectures internationally on laser dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and practice management. His passion for the art of dentistry has been fuelled by his never-ending pursuit for excellence in cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Kassam is a proud member of both the Canadian and BC Dental Associations, BC College of Oral Health Professionals (formerly the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Society of Oral Laser Applications and the British Dental Association.
