Education
Dr. Tan attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors. He went on to attain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. He has trained in California for innovative gum surgery techniques and Miami for advanced level implant surgeries to be able to provide the most consistently best results from his treatment.

Dr. Tan and Wendy are now blessed with three sons, Ryan, Daniel, and Lucas. Dr. Tan enjoys spending time and traveling with his family.
Dr. Tan is passionate about quality, patient-focused care and believes in relentless learning and improvement. He emphasizes the importance of building trust with his patients into a long-term, doctor-patient partnership.

Dr. Tan is married to Wendy, whom he met at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario while obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors. Dr. Tan has appeared on A-Channel News, CTV News, the CBC Morning Show, KICX 106 FM and The Dock, Sunshine 89.1 FM Radio, as well as The Orillia Packet and Times, and Orillia Today newspapers.
