I bought retainers from Dr. Christopher Low's office in Jul 2023 & felt frustrated that one of my retainers had broken after only 13 mos, as they had cost over $800. I was initially told that they couldn't be repaired or replaced as they were no longer under warranty, but Dr. Low agreed to investigate the issue. He confirmed that there seemed to be a problem with the batch of materials that these retainers had been made from, as I had been removing them correctly (by gently pulling on both sides at the same time to avoid bending). He then offered to re-do my impressions & provided me with replacement retainers for no cost, even though I offered to pay for some of this additional work. He also gifted me the impressions to keep for future retainers to be made. I'm so impressed by how kindly & professionally Dr. Low & his staff addressed my concerns once he had identified the problem. I would definitely recommend Arbutus Station Dental to buy retainers & for general dental services like fillings & cleanings as well.
It started by being greeted by a very pleasant receptionist. Next I met the dental assistant, who was a lovely girl, so polite and kind. Next was the dentist. Now this was a dentist that I am so happy I have found because my last experiences were not very pleasant. He is professional, precise, and very kind and explained everything, made suggestions and I feel now that I have finally found the right place to go to have my teeth cared for.
Probably the best dental experience I’ve had in Vancouver for the past 30 yrs. Chris and his team do an excellent job explaining any work that is required and I felt very confident with their honesty, integrity and professionalism. I Never thought I would say this but I’m actually looking forward to my next visit!

Christopher Low, DMD
Dentist
Dr. Christopher Low calls Kitsilano his home, having moved to the area with his wife and family a few years ago. He was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, and after high school, he studied Biology at the University of Victoria where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 2003. Following undergraduate studies, Christopher’s interest in the biological sciences led him initially to pursue a career in academia, where he began working at the BC Cancer Research Centre studying prostate cancer. His time in research yielded many enjoyable years of study and the completion of a Master’s degree in Oncology from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2010.
Later, finding a greater interest in clinical work, he continued his studies and obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from UBC in 2014. He followed this with a year in general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Centre in the Bronx, New York. There he gained considerable experience in all aspects of general dentistry, including treating patients in an emergency setting.
