Grove Smiles is a fabulous dental practice. Dr Rita Dargham is a skilled, caring dentist who uses the newest techniqes. Maria, the dental hygienist, does a wonderful job cleaning and checking to be sure our teeth are kept in good shape. The staff are all very competent, and friendly but professional. They are extremely caring about the safety of their patients and have the most up-to-date equipment and procedures in place.
The office is a feast for the eyes, filled with artwork of all sorts.
The parking is limited but pay-by-phone spaces are nearby and almost always available.
My family is pleased to call them our dental practice.

I really recommend this office.I went there as a new patient starting from the front desk, she was very professional, she explained everything to me in detail about my insurance coverage them I got to meet Dr Dargham and her wonderful assistant, in just one visit they teached me a lot of things and how my mouth work ,no one ever took the time to perform a complete dental exam as she did that day.It happened that they didn’t have same day for cleaning and exam but that wasn’t a problem because they put me in the next day for my professional dental cleaning and i have to share that Maria is the most amazing dental hygienist i ever met,Im not talking as human being im talking about her work and professionalism.Once again I really recommend this place ,they have the best team ever

Truly shocked that this place only has positive reviews. When I got there, it wasn’t my vibe which is fine. It’s a very eclectic place with alternative type of artwork and chuchkies all over. I prefer simpler settings for a dentists office that suggest a more sterile environment…. But a matter of scenic presence would not have compelled me to write a review. Given I was a bit uncomfortable and knowing I wouldn’t make this my dentistry of preference, I asked the woman attending me if we could skip the x rays and get to the cleaning. She said the x rays are an obligatory part of the process in order to get my cleaning. Ok, fine. (The machine they used for the X-rays seemed outdated, matching the chaotic and rugged ambiance, but again this isn’t something that would’ve convinced me to write a review). I then had to wait for the dentist to conduct the exam. She could tell I was uncomfortable and asked why, to which I responded that it just wasn’t my type of dentists office but I just wanted to get my cleaning done. She repeated what the other woman said- they had to do a full exam and take me on as a patient to do the cleaning. Ok. I’m giving this place 2 stars and not 1 because the dentist was kind and took her time explaining things. After the full exam, I had to wait for another woman to come and take pictures of my teeth with an iPad. Again, strange choices in technology, but sure. After taking pictures, this 3rd woman asks me if I want to schedule my cleaning for tomorrow. Excuse me? I have mentioned to every single person I’ve interacted with that all I wanted was a cleaning. At no point in the hour I was there did anyone tell me I was not getting a cleaning. Had I been informed this wasn’t going to be part of my visit, I wouldn’t have minded taking a cancellation fee and leaving. Instead, they did a full exam that they explained was obligatory. Has anyone heard of a dentist appointment where you don’t get a cleaning???? When I was filling out the forms at the beginning of my visit, the form outlined that the new patient exam was $150. The receptionist told me my total was $345. Why, I asked? Because I got the x rays WHICH I ASKED THEM NOT TO DO AND WAS TOLD IT WAS AN OBLIGATORY STEP TO GET MY CLEANING. Unbelievable waste of an hour of my life. Gd help me, if when I go to a different dentist to get my cleaning, my insurance doesn’t fully cover it because they’re counting this as the bi-annual visit I’m covered for, I’ll absolutely lose my mind.
