In 1997, my long-time dentist turned a simple cleaning appointment into a sales pitch for some overpriced electric toothbrush -- I was a literal child. Since then, I've noticed that most dentists I've dealt with have been avaricious scum: scare tactics, useless gadgets, badgering phone calls, fake treatments. One dentist said that if I didn't do a gum-graft, my teeth would fall out 🙄. Do your research, if you don't know what a treatment is or why you need it, refuse it. NONE of the above apply to Dr. Bacic. From my first appointment she would patiently listen to my concerns and offer up options. She's efficient and conservative, so she'll always lean toward whatever treatment is safer and less expensive. Even when I'd come in with a dozen Googled ideas of varying ridiculousness, she would listen to all of them and help with the most reasonable one. In addition to that, the staff are skilled and personable, and are always punctual. I'm glad I finally found a dental office that I can trust. My smile now looks 😎😎.

Born in Croatia, Dr. Berta Bacic spent her early school days in Germany before her family moved to Oakville, Ontario in 1973. Dr. Bacic is well versed in Croatian, German and English.
Dr. Bacic graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science degree, continuing her studies at the University of Toronto where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Science.
After successfully building her practice in Burlington, Ontario, Dr. Bacic embarked on launching the Corktown District location. Since 2014, District Dental has become part of a thriving community and is proud to be part of this vibrant neighbourhood.
Dr. Bacic combines current dental techniques with artistry and personal care. She strives to get to know each patient and their individual needs. She welcomes the opportunity to meet new patients and discuss any way the team at District Dental can help achieve their dental goals.
