Amazing. They really helpful with the dental insurances and they are wonderful with children. The whole team is nice and make us as parents feel comfortable. Moved my whole family here.
The staff is key. From the front desk staff to the hygienists to the Doctors everyone is friendly, personable and professional. All my experiences at West Five have been excellent!
Very helpful and empathetic and informative and of course friendly
On January 15th I was scheduled to have the remains of a rear molar extracted and opted to have a light sedation for the procedure. This was the first time I had opted for this type of pain control, and I must say that I was extremely satisfied with the experience. I can’t say I remember very much…a good thing, and waking up was no problem. I felt a bit ‘wobbly’ afterwards, and had my husband there to drive me home. All in all, the staff were great and Dr.Sherghin DDS, managed to get the tooth out in one piece! I highly recommend the West Five Dental practice.
While I have only visited West Five clinic one or two times, Dr. Hesham Sherghin has given me outstanding professional service every time I have seen him here and at the other clinics he works out of.
Due to past traumatic experiences, I have extreme dentist phobia, especially involving metal instruments of any kind (sharp or blunt).
Dr. Sherghin acknowledged my fears, and treats me with patience and care with no condescension.
He intuitively sees shifts in my anxiety and immediately adjusts whatever he is doing as needed, from verbal explanations to oral examinations, before anything escalates.
He has provided me with thoughtful and customized options for treatments (root canal, fillings, descaling - all terrifying for me) that were not traumatic in the least and for the first time in years, I am now planning regular dental visits.
If you suffer from dentist anxiety at all, I highly recommend Dr. Sherghin. Empathetic, supportive and professional as well as quality dental work.

Hesham Sherghin
Dentist
Dr. Hesham Sherghin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2011, where he was named to the Dean’s List. He then completed a yearlong Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at St. Johns Providence Health System in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Sherghin was the class Vice-President and served as an active member of several societies and organizations. He was the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions including the Most Cooperative Student Award, and Pre-Doctoral Achievement Award-International Congress of Oral Implantology as well as other academic awards and scholarships.
Dr. Sherghin is an active member of several study clubs in the London area, the RCDSO, The ODA, and CDA. Although he is very busy he always finds time to support his community by sponsoring some of his young patients and their youth sports’ teams. He also enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and looking for ways to further educate himself so he can provide the best possible care for his patients.
