How often can you say that an extraction of a molar was a great experience? On my initial exam, Dr Bahn found subtle changes of a possible cracked and infected molar. He and the staff arranged consultation with a specialist and once confirmed, followed up with a date for extraction. The extraction itself went very smoothly as Dr Bahn patiently waited for the anaesthetic to take effect, to minimize any discomfort and patiently wrestled the tooth from my jaw (who knew that he must have the forearms of Arnold Schwarzenegger!). He made sure I was aware that the office was open till 5 in case I had any post op pain (which I did not!) and had his office follow up the following day to ensure that I was doing well.
Caring, professional, and quality. All these are humbly manifested by Dr Bahn and each member of his staff.
PS, the cost of the extraction was cheaper then the consult to the Endodontist too! 8-)

Michael Banh, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Banh obtained both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Toronto. He has been practising general dentistry in Uxbridge since completing his dental degree. Licenced with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Dr. Banh enjoys all aspects of dentistry with particular interests in periodontal and implant surgery. Committed to clinical excellence, Dr. Banh is constantly upgrading his skills at continuing education courses to ensure patients receive the most up-to-date and predictable dental treatments available.
Dr. Banh is dedicated to giving back to the Uxbridge community, supporting several local organizations and events including: The Uxbridge Public Library, The Uxbridge Half Marathon, The Uxbridge Rotary Club, The Uxbridge Skating Club, The Uxbridge Music Scholarship Trust, Uxbridge Fall Fair, The United Way Durham Region, and The Lucy Maud Montgomery Society of Ontario.
His commitment to helping others goes beyond the borders of Uxbridge, Ontario. Dr. Banh has been involved in two medical/dental missions to Ghana, Africa where he provided free dental care for the local population.
