My mom had her 5 yr journey here and never did she have one complaint. Such friendly staff and doctor! Always would accommodate her schedule and never made her feel uncomfortable during the process. Would definitely recommend.

I just had the most gracious consultation with orthodontist-Doctor Chelian, of Urban Orthodontics in Union City, New Jersey. Ok so recently I had been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. It was suggested that I look into a sleep apnea MAD (mandibular adjustment device); basically a mouth guard that would move my lower mandibular & tongue forward. Now prior to my consultation with Doc Chilean I had been rather anxious as I had intensely researched my options. Research that had my head spinning; however, my consultation with Doctor Chelian eased my mind as it proved to be enlightening. After listening intently to my trajectory -what lead me to seek his advise- Doc C proceeded to examine my mouth/teeth. Then to explain what an MAD is, and what it is supposed to accomplish. He expounded upon what the pros and potential cons might be, especially since I already wear retainers from braces I had years prior. He listened carefully, and spent an inordinate amount of time with me. As a result I was able to make an informed decision because of his care and attention to detail. Doctor Chilean thank you for your kindness. Your guidance was/is invaluable.

Dr Chelian and his team are caring, accommodating, and professional. I evaluated a few different places before choosing this practice. Just as I was making my decision to start Invisalign (I never had braces as a kid), Covid hit and put my plans on hold since I needed to be with my family out of state. When I finally decided to go forward, I tried to find a place in Maryland to do it, but I didn’t find anyone I trust like this team. Ultimately, I decided to travel all the way back to NJ to do the treatment with Dr Chelian and his team. They are super accommodating around my schedule and set up some virtual visits so I wouldn’t need to travel back so often. Tirza worked with me to handle my insurance and work out a payment plan that works for me. My Invisalign’s fit like gloves and I’m excited to see the progress!
