I appreciate you taking the time to check out our practice! At Star Orthodontics, we strive to deliver the best imaginable results in the most efficient manner possible. I’ve been with Star Orthodontics since 2008 and I absolutely love creating beautiful, healthy smiles for my patients.
I received my DDS degree with Distinction in 2003 then completed my orthodontic residency and Master’s degree all from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (go Tar Heels!). Giving back to our community is extremely important to me. That is why I launched a scholarship program where we provide braces at no cost to disadvantaged children. I am so grateful to be in a profession that not only provides kids with healthy, brand new smiles, but also boosts their self-esteem. We are all more capable of reaching our full potential when we feel good about ourselves. I love being able to be part of that.
My wife, Liz, and I live in Matthews with our four unique, challenging and amazing children. We love spending time together as a family, especially traveling and cheering our favorite teams (Tar Heels, Panthers and Hornets). Liz and I have completed many races together, including the NYC Marathon, which I am extremely proud of. I’m also passionate about photography, and I hope to someday be as good as my Pulitzer Prize winning uncle.
I truly love people and taking care of them. Doing everything possible to treat my patients and staff with kindness, respect, and compassion brings me great joy. I will always take the time to explain your treatment options or cover any questions or concerns you have, so please don’t hesitate to ask. I look forward to giving you the healthy, beautiful smile you deserve!
