Great team at South Calgary, from Kristi at the front desk who was professional and friendly and was able to move up my appointment on request to Dr. Demeter who is empathetic, and made the experience very comfortable for me. She informed of my options in a way that allowed me to make the right decision for me. A team of Rockstars all around - highly recommend.
I had my teeth cleaned by Celeste. It was a very thorough cleaning and she passed the time with very pleasant conversation while working on my teeth.
I saw Dr Robertson March 31st- i been having severe implant pain and on going infections , my crown came out to see if would help and still no luck the pressure was terrible amd painful radiating to my cheek down to lower jaw.. ive been desperate for help and solution.. the last resort is removing the implant as its a big surgery.. dr Roberston took alot of time trying to figure out my complicated issue.. he finally decided to remove the screw ( said rare but mb possible im allergic to titanium) and he put in a healing post. Said lets let the gum close completely over the implant. And see how it does.. well he’s a genius. Years of issues and no one thought to try this.. that pressure immediately came down, i still feel pain amd discomfort but nothing near what i have been for past 2-3 years.. im hopeful this continues to improve.. but no better feeling than pressure that felt like was going to explode started leaving the site. Thank you Dr Robertson for taking almost 2 hours w me.. and not rushing me through like most places do now a days., highly recommend this man.

Drs. Angela Demeter, Colin Wiebe, Bryce McDougall and Ben Thomas and the entire team at South Calgary Periodontal Group want to help provide you and your family with the detailed periodontal care and treatment education that is needed for a lifetime of dental health.
Most patients are referred to our Calgary clinic by their general dentist, however, a referral is not necessary. Simply contact us and set up a periodontal consultation. We have ample free parking for your convenience at 747 Lake Bonavista Drive SE (We're located on the 2nd floor next to The Lake House Restaurant.).

Angela Demeter, BSC, DDS, MSC
Periodontist
Dr. Angela Demeter obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto where she was chosen to participate in a dental externship program at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. After completion of a General practice hospital residency in New York City, she continued her postgraduate education at the University of British Columbia in the Graduate Periodontics & Implant Surgery program. She received her Specialty degree in Periodontics & Masters in Craniofacial Science in 2010.
Angela was recognized at UBC for her outstanding theoretical performance and excellence in implant surgery with the “Nobel Biocare Achievement Prize” and was selected to represent UBC at the Nobel Biocare Global Symposium in NYC. She has provided dental care for First Nation communities in Northern Ontario and the Queen Charlotte Islands.
