I have been going here for years and recently had to get implants. Dr. Safaie ensured I had a great experience, as he was very thorough with the procedure and I did not struggle with pain. On top of that, the team is very accommodating and make sure that their patients are comfortable.

Over 10 years of having Dr. Safaei taken care of my teeth, I had to leave. One of my tooth's old filling cracked and couldn't get treated as I was pregant at the time. That tooth had cavity and need bigger filling, which was expected. Then 4 years later, that tooth chipped and was realized that there was cavity under the filling. Root cancal was done, but the crown was done poorly. At the time the crown was in, Dr. Safaei was ensured that there were no gaps. 6 months later, the crown was redone (by another dentist), and cavity was found under the crown. When I was informed there was cavity under the filling, Dr. Safaei explained to that someone didn't do the filling right, so now he would take care of it. I had never been to other dentist except him. When I told him that my tooth was still sentistive and sore after the filling and went away after few months, Dr. Safaei told me that was the sign that my tooth was dying. But at that time, few mounths after the filling was done, I was advised by Dr. Safaei that if it bother me very much, then the tooth may require root cancal, or the soreness may go away as my tooth need adjustment when the filling was deep and got really close to the nerve. Therefore, I waited, and the pain went away, and I believed that the tooth was fine. It was upsetting that 4 years later to found out that the tooth's filling wasn't done properly, I was misinformed, and caused my tooth to rote under the filling and chipped half of my tooth. I didn't feel right at the time, but I stayed as I want to believe that he was a good dentist for me more than 10 years, and I should let him fix this. The crown I got from Dr. Safaei was terrible. After it was in, and his attempted to get the bite right, I was sent home. I was informed that I could come back for adjustment if needed. It was not done right. There was ledge between the crown and my gum that I could feel from my tounge. The profile of the crown was like a tennis ball stuck on a chair leg (my tooth), and the bite was so bad that I couldn't eat. It was my first crown, and I didn't know what to expect. I went back and Dr. Safaei smoothed the ledge, slimmed down the crown, and fixed the bite. Dr. Safaei re-ensured me that there was no gaps between the crown and my tooth. I decided to leave Dr. Safaei wasn't because I know that the job wasn't done right, as I am not a dentist and I couldn't tell, but it was the way he handled this tooth. I was confirmed the crown was done poorly when I found another dentist and through x-ray to confirm there were gaps on the sides, and the crown needs to be redone. With my 2nd time needing the crown on the same tooth less than a year, and with comparison, I know that my first crown from Dr. Safaei was bad. Added note: The dentist stood by his work as he always does, but who could really proved otherwise until I went to see another. I stood by my review. In addition, my last cleaning at Dr. Safaei office was Oct 2019. My tooth chipped on Feb 3 2020. I went to their office for regular cleanings and check ups for well over 10 years, and they were good at reminding me for appointment for every 6 months until the pandemic started in Mar/Apr 2020. Per my statement above, over 4 years time, the cavity under the filling was not noticed. That had nothing to do with the pregency nor the pandemic. After the crown was done in Jun 2020, their office never contacted me for cleaning/check up UNTIL I posted my review, which is 18 months from my last clean up with them, or 10 months after the crown was done. My review is for people who are searching for dentist. Thank you for reading this long review. I really hope this would help you.
