Dr, Thomas is the only one I trust with any periodontal procedures.Recovery has always been a breeze with no bruising or swelling. He is very thorough, professional, and takes his time with his patients.
Update May 6th 2026 Saint Joseph office staff and assistant were incredibly accommodating, attentive to details, & helpful, everything from x-rays to insurance issues was just compassionate & fantastic, including follow-ups. At the NKC office, 3 tooth extractions in one visit, Dr Jonathan is masterful. periodontist! This procedure (triple extraction) went just perfectly & was nearly painless. Certainly, I'm much better off after the extraction than before, & an amazing & caring professional team is there as well. Strongly recommended - one of the best I could find. End of update. Dr Jonathan is caring really professional the first periodontist to really sit down after the exam and to explain what they were measuring and what it meant and also to cover the different possibilities in terms of treatment options is team office staff and assistance were just world class the procedures went just perfectly and absolutely thorough and always willing to answer questions open to take phone calls to answer questions later and I was really very happy to have found him and his team there in Kansas City Missouri and Lee's Summit and very very happy about their service and periodontal care
I have avoided the dentist for years due to feeling judged and went into my appointment with extremely high nerves surrounding my general tooth health and how they would treat me.
However, I felt not only welcomed, but heard and understood as well. I had to bring my 6mo old daughter to my consult due to childcare conflicts, and during my X-rays my nurse checked on her frequently because I couldn’t and even brought her a new toy to play with when she got fussy, as well as assured me we weren’t bothering anyone and that Dr actually has a daughter as well!
Dr then explained to me my options, a cost breakdown, and answered any questions I could have had!
I’m so happy I chose this office, it was so easy from scheduling my appt. to walking out the door! I’ve never felt more accommodated and comfortable!!
The office environment was very welcoming and the cleaning was awesome
