Dr. Segal’s dedication to quality and personalized care is preceded by a commitment to education and service.He grew up in Toronto, Canada. In fact, Dr. Segal is a second generation Periodontist.
He received his dental degree from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1990 including a Minors on Oral Pathology. Following dental school Dr. Segal completed a dental residency program at Michael Reese Hospital. He was selected for specialty training in Periodontics and Implants at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, receiving his certificate in 1994.
Dr. Segal is committed to excellence. He and his staff attend extensive continuing education throughout the year. He lectures on numerous subjects including Advances in Non-surgical and Surgical Periodontics and Implants, and has held a teaching appointment at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry for 5 years.
Dr. Segal has been selected by his peers to serve in numerous appointments in prominent dental organizations. He was President for the Illinois State Dental Society in 2002.
