Dentist
Dr. Penuvchev received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 1996. He is a 1997 graduate of the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also obtained his Fellowship in Implant Surgery from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Temple University. In his free time, Dr Penuvchev enjoys attending Professional Development Courses to improve upon his skills and knowledge, Dental Research, playing guitar and coaching his Sons' sporting activities.
Dr. Penuvchev was born, raised, attended schools and currently lives in the neighbourhood he serves, with his wife Vera and three sons, Peter, Matthew and Nicholas.

Dr. Vivian Wu is amazing! She is so kind and compassionate. As a new client I was very impressed with the office, nurses and hygienists Bessy & Janet. I highly recommend North Toronto Dental Centre. Easy parking too right behind the building in the Green P lot.

Since I was a child in the 1960s I’ve been coming to this dental office. Dr Andy Penuvchev took over the practice when the previous dentist retired a number of years ago and expanded the practice in a beautiful contemporary new office, adding more hygienists and additional professionals. I’ve continued to attend regularly for cleanings and check ups and filings or crowns. The staff are most friendly and helpful and operate this dental office very efficiently. I never wait more than a few minutes for my appointment and in the dental chair using the latest technology and diagnostic tools, Andy works seamlessly with his assistant and competes his work promptly and without discomfort. I’m continually amazed at how he can put on a crown and I’d never know he’d been working in my mouth. His extensive knowledge and experience coupled with his genuine friendly approach make a trip to the dentist quite pleasurable and something to look forward to. Like seeing old friends. And when I’ve had an urgent need, a quick call to the office and the staff manage to fit me into their busy schedule. Even after moving from Toronto 22 years ago I continue to drive a little over an hour for the best dental care.
