I’ve been going here for many years and it’s always been a fantastic experience with the friendly and extremely professional staff.
Yesterday, Dr Tawfik extracted a problematic molar. He could not have been more thorough in ensuring that the procedure could be done safely, given my possible allergy to penicillin. Dr Tawfik is the ultimate professional as are all the members of Dr Penuvchev’s team.
So happy to have found North Toronto Dental. When my original dentist retired, I wasn’t sure who to turn to — but I’m so glad I found this practice.
I had the pleasure of first meeting Jinky, the dental assistant, who was gentle, communicative, and professional. Dr. Penuchev put me completely at ease and uses wonderful modern technology, including an intraoral tool that lets you view your tooth from multiple angles alongside a very in-depth analysis of X-rays. He explained my options thoroughly and welcomed every question I had.

Wonderful Experience
I had a wonderful experience with Deanna at North Toronto Dental Centre. She was very thorough, gentle, and professional with my cleaning and polishing. I truly appreciated her kindness and attention to detail.
She even gave me an electric toothbrush, which was such a thoughtful surprise. I felt very cared for and warmly welcomed. Thank you, Deanna! Highly recommend!

Andrew Penuvchev
Dentist
Dr. Penuvchev received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 1996. He is a 1997 graduate of the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also obtained his Fellowship in Implant Surgery from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Temple University. In his free time, Dr Penuvchev enjoys attending Professional Development Courses to improve upon his skills and knowledge, Dental Research, playing guitar and coaching his Sons' sporting activities.
Dr. Penuvchev was born, raised, attended schools and currently lives in the neighbourhood he serves, with his wife Vera and three sons, Peter, Matthew and Nicholas.
