Excellent prompt service for an urgent problem.
Always a GREAT and friendly experience.
I had a dental emergency on a Sat, Aug/8/2026 - pain, swelling, could not sleep, and my usual dentist is great, but works Mon-Fri. I could not wait to Mon. The North Toronto Dental Centre answered the phone on a Sat morning, listened to my problem, and told me to come right away. There was no wait at all. X-rays were taken with care and consideration, and Dr. Wu immediately explained the situation and offered solutions. I chose one of the solution, and Dr. Wu immediately provided with the treatment - with high professionalism and care. When my insurance had a problem of going through (as apparently Desjardins are unreachable on weekends), the clinic management staff told me not to worry about it and that we will follow up on Mon, which we did. I would recommend North Toronto Dental Centre to anyone! Thank you so much!

Dr. Penuvchev received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 1996. He is a 1997 graduate of the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also obtained his Fellowship in Implant Surgery from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Temple University. In his free time, Dr Penuvchev enjoys attending Professional Development Courses to improve upon his skills and knowledge, Dental Research, playing guitar and coaching his Sons' sporting activities.
Dr. Penuvchev was born, raised, attended schools and currently lives in the neighbourhood he serves, with his wife Vera and three sons, Peter, Matthew and Nicholas.
