Within the last year I switched dentists to Dr Chow. He has completely saved my mouth and was so thorough with explaining everything until I understood exactly what was going on as well as working within my budget of what needed to be fixed right away and what could wait. He is funny and extremely sensitive to how I am feeling in the chair, always making sure I am comfortable and feeling safe. I see Iris primarily as my hygienist and she is so incredible as well! I have nothing but good things to say. She is great at communicating everything to me and quick but extremely efficient and spent extra time hand scaling when I couldn’t handle the water any longer. The whole team was great about showing me xrays as well as live imaging and photos so I felt comfortable and informed about what they were doing. I am so happy I moved over here!!
An all-around outstanding dental office! Having worked in the dental field I can confidently say they are best of the best. Dr. Chow and both of his associates provide top notch dental care with no BS. The front desk staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, the hygienists are amazing, every staff member is warm and welcoming - no dental anxiety here!! They really go above and beyond for their patients. I just had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Chow after avoiding the oral surgeon for quite some time and it was so easy & painless. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Their commitment to patient care is exceptional. The entire staff is professional yet warm, always remembering personal details and making each visit a pleasant experience. As a family dentist, Dr. Michael A. Chow and Meadows Family Dental offer dental treatments for patients of all ages. We see patients from across the Tri-Cities area, including Pitt Meadows, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, and Maple Ridge. Our practice is conveniently located one block south of Lougheed Highway, at the intersection of Harris and McMyn Roads.

I was born and raised in Vancouver and love the Lower Mainland. I attended UBC where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and then Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1988. During my time at UBC, I had spent several years involved in immunological research, which aided my critical thinking. While in dental school, I was offered a student externship in Maple Ridge and it was at that time I realized I wanted to practice in the Ridge Meadows area where there are so many wonderful families. As a
dental professional, I stay up-to-date in the most current treatment options and value each patient as an individual who has entrusted me with their oral health care. Outside the office, I enjoy fishing, golfing, running, and skiing with my wife Dana and our two children.

We have been seeing Dr. Chow for a couple of years now and are very happy. He has very high integrity as evidenced by an incident when a temporary hygienist cleaned my teeth. Apparently she did not do the job to his standard and he had my cleaning re-done at no cost. I would have never known the difference but it didn't sit well with him and he alerted me to it and fixed it. We have two small children who are happy going to see his team and have experienced nothing but great care and the highest of professionalism.
