Welcome to Living Wellness Dental Dorchester! Our team of professionals, including Drs. Kindal Robertson, David MacLean, and Cameron MacLean are dedicated to providing exceptional dentistry with a focus on overall health, rather than the traditional disease-oriented, reactive model. This proactive model is founded on the understanding that there is a strong connection between the mouth and whole person health, realized by intelligent intent, not by accident. The model prides itself on empowering clients to make well-informed decisions about their health, based upon their own value systems. This has led our practice into the realm of holistic health with a view to a “biologic” approach to dentistry. Our time-tested craft enables us to deal with the challenges of bio-compatible dental restorations by applying the principles of nature’s design. A visit to our clinic will enable you to obtain quality, comprehensive solutions for a wide range of dental problems.

Kindal Robertson
Dentist
We are in a time when patients are welcomed advocates for their own care. Dr. Kindal Robertson is a dentist who believes in patient education as a complement to compassionate, personalized care. He treats patients like he does his own siblings, providing holistic care to promote health for the whole body, not just the teeth and gums. Dr. Robertson finds immense peace in doing what is best in each situation.
Dr. Robertson believes “A proactive approach to wellness may not be any harder than changing one element of our lifestyle such as caring for oral health and supporting health before the symptoms compound.”
Dr. Kindal Robertson grew up as the middle child out of seven children right here in Calgary. He received both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Calgary, and graduated from the University of Alberta with his doctorate in dentistry in 2008. To this day, Dr. Robertson has continued his own learning process, completing training programs on an ongoing basis. He has a special interest in understanding the relationship between oral health, dental care, and general health. These interests have lead him to be a member of the IAOMT and to be SMART certified. He currently sits as the Chair of the Science Committee of the IAOMT.
Dr. Robertson and his wife Treena have eight young children. The family maintains an active lifestyle that includes soccer, basketball, biking, dance, skiing, piano, and various other activities that the children love. You may have once found Kindal in a kayak or in the Backcountry in a tent in solitude, but now you are more likely to see him crammed into a bulging tent surrounded by his children.

Our hygienist, Kate, was very friendly, patient, and attentive. She explained everything clearly and made us feel comfortable throughout the cleaning. You can tell she really cares about her patients.
Highly recommend this clinic and Kate if you’re looking for professional and caring dental service!

I discovered Dr Kindal Robertson 20 years ago when I was looking for a dentist who avoided installing metal fillings. My tooth needed crowning, and I was so happy with his work. The tooth fit perfectly and did not need adjusting. There was no tap tap tap, file, file, file.
A couple of years later I broke a tooth off to the gum line. It need pulling. I was frightened of suffering pain and stress, but Dr Robertson did careful, gentle work and there was no pain or trauma. That evening he phoned me to ensure I was okay. I so appreciated that consideration and kindness. After the tooth was pulled Dr Robertson took a vial of my blood, extracted the plasma, which he then injected into the tooth’s socket. The plasma promotes quicker healing. Whereas the hole from a previously pulled tooth took a long time to regrow, the plasma injected tooth healed much faster, promoting strong new bone for my new implant. The implant process was totally successful, and now I cannot even remember exactly which tooth has the implant.
Over the years I have had other crown and fillings and am always pleased with Dr Robertson’s meticulous work. I like that he tries to use biologically friendly materials that are less likely to affect my health over the years. I hope Dr Robertson does not retire anytime soon. He is definitely a 5 Star dentist. I should also mention parking - if you visit Dr Robertson’s office, he provides a parking stall in a lot across the street - very convenient.

This is an amazing clinic. My previous dentist wanted to remove and old crown and root canal the tooth - found this place through a recommendation and man am I ever elated that I went in. Dr. O is amazing. He took off the old crown, cleaned up some decay and fitted a perfect new crown on their and without the need to do a root canal. I genuinely feel that they care about my teeth. I would highly recommend Living Wellness Dental - Dorchester to anyone looking for a great dentist.

I have been a patient of dr. Kindal Robertson for a few years now and I am very impressed with him!
He is the most honest dentist I have ever met. He will never recommend any job that you don’t really need.
I had a tooth removal and an implant done by him and the experience was awesome!
I have very sensitive gums therefore I need injections even for cleaning!
His injections are almost painless - he is so good at them.
Apart from his extraordinary dental skills he is always very friendly, positive and caring!
I can honestly recommend him to everyone, the best dentist you can find in my humble opinion!
Very happy and grateful patient.

I have had to have a tooth removed lately due to infection of the root!
The pain was not nice - like a needle in the nerve!
Thank God it was hitting me only a few times a day!
Overall I had lots of bad experiences with dental procedures including two dry sockets situations upon tooth removal!!
However I have to give a huge credit and compliments to dr. Kindal Robertson and his team!!
The extraction was painless - absolutely minimum discomfort during the procedure and after!
Great anaesthetic took care of all the pain and just a few pills of Advil and Tylenol for couple days after the procedure and that was all!!
Totally amazing!!!
My best tooth removal ever!!
Painless and with lots of care!!
I can honestly recommend dr Robertson for everyone who finds visits at the dentists stressful to put it mildly!!
Big big thank dr Robertson for such an amazing painless action!
With regards,
Jack Kasiński

Incredible all around. I was struggling with 5 infected root canals from decades ago but I didn’t want metal in my mouth. Dr. Robertson extracted all 5 teeth for me in under 3 minutes per tooth. He used ozone and PRF to ensure proper healing and disinfection. 3 months later I had great bone growth and Dr. Robertson gave me 5 ceramic implants. Today he tested all of my implants to see that they have ALL integrated incredibly well. Dr. Robertson and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and gracious. 5 stars! Highly recommend! 10/10!!!
