I had my prep-less veneers done by Kerrisdale Dental Centre by both Dr Tehjani and Dr Kassam... and with help from their wonderful dental assistant, Sharon. I could not be happier with my results.
Where do I begin..
I came into the office after doing extensive research and was deciding between two dentists with EXCELLENT reviews. I went to the other office first and had what I thought was a good consultation... that is until I met the doctors at Kerrisdale Dental Centre. There just absolutely is no comparison in professionalism and perfectionism. And to be honest, my experience meeting Sharon (dental assistant/hygienist) was the icing on the cake. She is always smiling, soft spoken, knows how to make you feel comfortable and happy.. like having your best friend there helping you choose exactly what works for YOU.
My teeth are incredible (hey, I might be biased, but I wouldn’t be leaving this 5-star review if I didn’t feel so!). This office, I believe I am saying this correctly, is one of (if not the only office) in Canada with their own lab right here in Vancouver so they can actually touch up and correct any tiny little details you want fixed once the veneers are made! No other dental office has this. The day I had them put in permanently, the lab technician was physically there doing the smallest adjustments for me until I was 100% happy with them. Incredible.
Spending money on your teeth is important for health and aesthetic reasons. If I could do it all over again I would not change a single thing. Thanks so much to the staff (Sharon!!) and to the doctors, and I look forward to being a life-long patient ☺️

Dr. T even picked up on a sleep-related issue that was affecting my overall health and my dental health. Thanks to his attentiveness and referral, I’m now getting treatment that has dramatically improved my energy and well-being. I’m stronger and healthier because he paid attention.
The admin team is just as impressive—organized, transparent, and on top of insurance details, so I always knew what to expect.
If you’re anxious about dental visits or need truly comprehensive care, this is the place. I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done for me.
For nearly forty years, Dr. Kassam had been taken good care of my teeth, and for the last seven or so years , Amelia, the hygienist has been making sure my teeth is in top condition. And most of all, it’s so comforting to see Sharon greeting you from the reception and she is always on top of submitting all necessary documents to your extended health insurance. Which really helps to facilitate the coverage you’re entitled to.

Dr. Abbas Tejani
Dentist / Speaks English
Dr. Abbas Tejani graduated from the University of Bristol and has been in practice since 1984. He moved from England to Vancouver in 1999, passing the Canadian National Board Exams at the highest level and becoming a Kerrisdale Dental Centre team member in 2000. Dr. Tejani is accredited with working with several experts in Europe and North America in the fields of aesthetic and restorative dentistry, and bioesthetics. His thirst to learn and continues to expand his knowledge and expertise through participation in study clubs and hands on courses. Dr. Tejani has a very caring and gentle manner and is committed to a holistic approach, placing an emphasis on your overall health.
Dr. Omar Kassam, BDS (Lond) LDS, RCS
Dr. Omar Kassam graduated from the University of London in 1977 and has been in practice ever since. In 1987, he was a Clinical Instructor for final year students in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of British Columbia. In 1998, Dr. Kassam became a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and by 2008 he earned his Masters Degree in Laser Dentistry and became a recognized course provider of this specialized field of dentistry.
Dr. Kassam lectures internationally on laser dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and practice management. His passion for the art of dentistry has been fuelled by his never-ending pursuit for excellence in cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Kassam is a proud member of both the Canadian and BC Dental Associations, BC College of Oral Health Professionals (formerly the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Society of Oral Laser Applications and the British Dental Association.
