I highly recommend First Choice Dentistry and Dr. Stoycheva. I have been a patient for 4 years and outside of my bi-annual cleanings through insurance, I’ve also had my teeth whitened and a filling installed. Barbara has been a fantastic dental hygienist and informs me about my teeth, gums, and what she is doing during the cleanings so I feel very involved in my dental health. The office is also downright beautiful. I will be a patient for many years to come!

Made my first appointment to see the dentist in YEARS and the entire staff was so nice and welcoming. Dr. Stoycheva was incredibly kind and considerate and made the time to fill one of my teeth that had been hurting the same day so that I didn’t have to suffer with it and enjoy eating again. So far the entire staff has been nothing but nice and I’m actually looking forward to finally taking care of my oral health after so many years of going without.
I was visiting Milwaukee and experienced severe pain/tenderness in my upper left molar. I used to be a patient of Dr. Stoycheva as of 2021, and so I called her at 4:56 p.m. on a Monday. Dr. Stoycheva listened to what was going on as well as my plan to drive back to Tampa on Wednesday. She suggested a very effective pain relief remedy and then had me come in on Tuesday. I’m not sure what she did when I was in that chair, but by Friday when I returned home I had no more pain/discomfort. Absolutely gone. I always knew Dr. Stoycheva was the best dentist I’ve ever had and my opinion holds after that experience. I cannot recommend her and her staff more highly !
Dr. Stoycheva understands my oral health needs & the correlation to my budget, so I can plan ahead. She is articulate, responsive & does exceptional restorative work. All of the staff are accommodating & respectful. It is a practice of women & the quality of work reflects that. It’s also a beautiful office!

Dr. Stoycheva initialy completed her education in Dentistry in July, 1984 at The School of Stomatology of Higher Medical Institute, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. After practicing dentistry in Europe for eight years, she started studying English in order to equalize her education in the USA. A pioneer for her family, Dr. Stoycheva immigrated to the United States in 1993 to ensure a better life for her two daughters and herself. She graduated from Marquette University, School of Dentistry, in May 1997.
Dr. Stoycheva practices comprehensive general dentistry with an emphasis on contemporary aesthetics and implantology. Since her graduation, she has held two clinical employment positions, as well as a part-time teaching position at Marquette University, School of Dentistry. Dr. Stoycheva has established herself as a preferred provider and a favorite dental health advisor during the years of working at well known dental clinics around Milwaukee, such as West Allis Dental Care, and Dental Associates.
In January of 2008, Dr. Roumiana Stoycheva opened the doors of her own dental clinic, FIRST PLACE DENTISTRY.
Dr. Stoycheva's new dental practice is based on a multi disciplinary team approach for adressing the dental health needs first, and reaching the ultimate aesthetic results according to each patient's individual needs. Dr. Stoycheva is a caring professional, excellent listener and a valuable dental health adviser. She insists on the constant improvement of both her own skills and those of her team members. Continuing education is the basis of her professional philosophy, and good customer service is the foundation of her personal approach.
Dr. Stoycheva has earned the respect of her patients and a reputation as a knowledgeable, skillful and compassionate professional. Dentistry to her is more than an occupation; it is her passion, her hobby, her life.
