I went here for a consultation because my permanent wired retainer broke after 10 years from another office. I was wanting to see if I need a replacement. The staff (Vallejo office) is so nice from the time I made the appointment on the phone to the day of the visit. (I also asked on the phone to make sure the consultation is free because sometimes some office would only give you a free consultation if you do a service with them, but they assured me it is a free consultation). The front desk was so nice. The receptionist offered coffee and water while waiting. And I only waited like 5 minutes after checked in, then a gentleman called me in to take X-rays, and full view pictures of my teeth. Then I was taken to another room by Patricia, the treatment coordinator, for cost of any retainer replacement that I need. Then the orthodontist came in to check my teeth again with measurements. She was so nice, honest, and genuine. She said because I wear a night guard at night, it acts as a retainer so I won’t need a replacement if I don’t want to. Patricia was so nice and honest, too, and gave me some good tips on brushing. She was so personable. I wanted to say how great the staff is here and I would recommend anyone with orthodontics needs to come to this office. They show great customer service, and I appreciate them. I want to thank them for the complimentary consultation. Now I have peace of mind and will come back to your office if I have any orthodontic needs. Thanks so much again!!
My daughter is happy with the office Briana did a great job making her feel comfortable. Patricia made it easier then I hoped especially with my insurance. Overall great experience

Eric Axelrode
Orthodontist
Dr. Eric Axelrode received his B.A. in economics from U.C. Santa Cruz. He received his DDS from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Dr. Eric completed a year of general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Portland Oregon, treating medically compromised patients. He practiced general dentistry in Oakland and San Pablo for three years prior to completing his orthodontic residency at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. During his residency he earned his certificate and Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Eric brings a unique approach in delivering excellent orthodontic care while understanding first hand the needs of the general dentist.
Dr. Eric and his wife, Monica, have two children, Jean-Luc and Leah. He is a native of Orinda and graduated from Miramonte High School. After studying in various places, he wanted to return to his roots to raise a family. Dr. Eric and his family live in Moraga, and enjoy being part of the community both personally and professionally. He enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking, skiing and traveling.
