Dr. Donya Mahdavi
Dr. Donya Mahdavi’s passion for dentistry shines through, with her meticulous attention to detail and exceptional level of care she provides her patients. From a young age, Dr. Donya was drawn to art and later science which led to her passion for dentistry. After completing her Bachelors in Psychology at UBC, she studied dentistry in Manhattan at the renowned New York University earning her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). She has had advanced training in handling phobias, becoming certified in the “Assessment and Treatment of Anxiety in the primary care setting” from Harvard Medical School.
In her free time, she enjoys spending it with her family and friends and exploring Vancouver with her Dog, Remi. Dr. Donya speaks English, Farsi and French and loves travelling and learning about all the wonderful cultures.
Dr. Donya enjoys all aspects of dentistry with an aptitude in Cosmetic Dentistry. She’s honoured to have had the opportunity to call some of the best dentists around the world her mentors. She has devoted her time studying the latest advancements in the field, continuing her education and attending conferences world-wide to ensure her patients receive the upmost care.
